When We Get Caught in Expectations
I know I can count on my favorite columnist to write about relevant issues at the right moment. Yesterday in the Washington Post there was a column by Carolyn Hax on defining boundaries in families.
In it Hax shows us how someone can get caught up in their own expectations, stirring up the family pot, and then projecting it onto those around them (certainly it is not me who has the problem here! If only they could be reasonable and see it my way!)
Take a moment to click through the link above and read it. She always expands my perceptual lens, and this one was no exception.
