Transitions and Control
So today is a lesson in letting go of control and riding whatever the universe brings my way – and it did not turn out too badly! (Which has been my experience in the past as well.) When I arrived in San Francisco, my phone informed me that my next flight to Monterey had been cancelled and yet my bags were still on their way (supposedly). I took the advice of a taciturn information desk man and made a run for the shuttle bus to Monterey. When I got there two hours later, my bags arrived shortly thereafter. My rental car was waiting and I tootled down the coast to Esalen. Arriving late here as well, I discovered that my bed had been made for me (thank you to the angels who broke the rules and did it!) And, my group is an intimate, cohesive one with lots of bodywork experience already – just the ticket for how I am feeling right now!
Someone is looking out for me!
