Emil is a professional somatic practitioner who has been working in physical rehabilitation and healing for the past 37 years. His approach to his work is synonymous with an artist to their medium. He works with a delicate balance of intuition and intelligence. His interest in the human body is unwavering.
He moved from studying massage therapy to becoming a teacher of massage therapy from 1982 – 1991. He worked at the Regina YMCA as a massage therapist from 1982 – 1989. He then went in to private practice and continues to this present day. He has studied Swedish and Advanced Remedial Massage from the Northern Institute of Massage in Blackpool England, Intro to CranioSacral Therapy in 2007 from the Upledger Institute in Palm Beach Gardens Florida, and in 2010 began the Healing From the Core® curriculum. He integrates HFC skills and practices in his work, that augments his therapeutic touch and presence, which allows for deeper healing outcomes and lasting relief for clients. His passion for Full Body Presence™ and movement extends in to Pilates and dance – Ballroom and especially West Coast Swing.
For enjoyment Emil spends time playing the harmonica, singing, fishing, kayaking, swimming, cycling and spending time with his daughter and twin grandsons.
