Gratitude is Just a Word

Full Body Gratitude

Gratitude is just a word
Until I drop into my heart
Until I expand the lens of my soul
Until I feel that pool of warmth starting to spread
Under my breast bone
Out into all of my chest and my backbone
Relaxing tightness I did not know I had
Until the moment it is gone.

Gratitude is just a word,
Until it spreads to my face…

Sarah Kay on Spoken Word Poetry

The next two blog posts are presentations of what young people are doing for the betterment of our planet. One is quite profound – a that got two standing ovations by Sarah Kay, and the second one tomorrow more whimsical and funny, and yet meaningful.

It can literally paralyze us and keep us from moving forward with all the creativity and joy that is our birthright as human beings.

So when I see a talk like the one …

Wonderful Gathering of CranioSacral Therapists

Last Saturday was a fabulous gathering of therapists with a rich sharing of ideas and experience as well a heart-warming demonstration. We shared a meal together and everyone got treated in the afternoon. As I looked around in the closing circle I could sense a fullness, indicative of a well-fed group of people – fed emotionally, intellectually, spiritually and physically. Here are the highlights of our discussions in this wonderful day.
