Spring, Resilience, and the Power of Ground & Fill

Spring, Resilience, and the Power of Ground & Fill

It is full on spring here in my part of the world – the green in the trees and the blossoms on the plants are emerging everywhere.

The birds are busily building nests and laying eggs. We have a pair of Carolina wrens who have decided to build their nest on the second shelf of a wire structure on our deck, in a pot with a dead plant that has lots of nest material, tucked in tightly in what looks like an impossibly tiny space. They are such a brave pair, zipping back and forth around us to get food from the feeder, as we eat our meals out on the deck too.

What a metaphor for our lives these days!Their resilience and flexibility is remarkable. Their vulnerability is also in the mix. One good windstorm...there is so much about our lives these days that can feel fragile and uncertain. The unknown is always a part of any new beginning, and this Spring is certainly that!

How do we live and thrive in these times?

One of our commitments here at Healing From the Core is to support our communities – locally and all over the globe. To that end we have created online groups that meet for 15 minutes, Monday to Friday, to ground and fill together.

These groups are short islands in time where your world can get quiet. You get to be in community and steady yourself as you put down roots and fill up with whatever is nourishing for you in that moment.

People register week by week as it suits them and show their support through donations. This program is steadily growing and the Master Practitioners who have joined me in leading these sessions provide us all with a wonderful gift.

There's more:Recently we've heard a call to create a group that is more sustained, committed and longer in duration for deeper healing.

So we are excited to announce that we are opening up registration for The Embodied Practitioner Support Circle that will run for 12 months starting on Monday, May 18, 2026.

Once a month, 75 minutes each time. Online.

The framework centers around an extended Ground and Fill that addresses what each participant brings to the group. Space will be limited, as this is designed to be a place of intimate sharing, deep healing, and ongoing support for the group members.

Who:Therapists and caregivers in our HFC and CST community – they understand the power of the Ground & Fill process. It includes those who have perhaps read Suzanne’s books, taken classes, and are committed to the process of healing and support for themselves and each other.

When:Third Monday of every month. This cohort starts May 18th and runs for 12 months.

Time: 11am – 12:15pm Eastern Time – 75 minutes.

Cost: $75 if paid monthly (or save 5% by paying $850 for the year)

Where: Online Zoom. Catch the recording later on the OTC if you miss a meeting.

This is designed to be an intimate setting. Take some time now to reflect on what you need at a soul level to support your life and your work. Space is limited.

In times like these, being in community matters—and we’d love to have you with us.
