More Early Spring Beauty

My friend George was here last weekend and he captured the early spring willow across the lake with exquisite clarity. I thought it came through even better than what I shared earlier so I feel compelled to pass on his gifts. This spring has been so beautiful I can hardly believe it.

I am in awe of the beauty around me in nature. I saw this exquisite sunrise this week and found myself mesmerized by the light and the reflections on the water and the early spring tree colors before they burst into full bloom later this month.

I find that this time of year brings out the part of me that wants to kick back, gather with friends and walk beneath the gorgeous white clouds of blossoms that line the streets. I love cherry blossoms and all their magic. Take the time to enjoy them wherever you are!

An Osprey and a Message

I awoke last Monday morning to see an Osprey – full grown and beautiful – perched high in a tree in my backyard overlooking the lake. I suspect it is a female because of her  size. She remained there for over three hours and has already returned three times this week. Here is what I found out about Indigenous wisdom regarding the Osprey and it’s message:
